Vegetable and Fish Soup - Uha
Russian fish soup (uha) is cooked with carrot, spices and potato. It is best made with fresh, not frozen, fish or seafood.

Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 cucumber
- 1 cup spinach leaves
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp horseradish root
- Sugar and salt to taste
- 1 cup crab meat
- 1 cup sturgeon (small pieces)
- 1 cup white fish (small pieces)
- 1/4 cup onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup garlic cloves, minced
Method:
In a deep pan boil 4 cups of water. When the water is boiling add the vegetables and cook for 15 min. Drain the water out and let the vegetables cool for some time.
In a bowl combine the crab meat, sturgeon and white fish with chopped onions, cucumber, salt, and garlic cloves. Mix well.
Keep in fridge for 1–2 hours and serve chilled.
