The markets are full of string beans now, and while it is true that one can find them year round, those that ripen naturally in the summer have a more intense richness of flavor.

Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 cup string beans, chopped
- 2 tbsp pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 /2 cup vegetable broth
- 5 cloves minced garlic
Method:
In a pan fry the chopped garlic in olive oil until golden brown. Add one part of the stock and make it to boil. Add the beans and fry till the water is absorbed fully.
Add the remaining stock and cook until the beans are cooked properly. Cook on low heat for 20 min.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve beans hot as a side dish or main course.
