Mushrooms and Beef
Cooked finely chopped mushrooms add flavor and moistness to simple beef chunks; spiced with garlic and onion with rice pilav, they are a treat.

Recipe Ingredients:
- 250 g beef
- 200 g mushrooms
- 2 each, onion and garlic cloves, sliced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- water
- Salt to taste
- 3 tbsp black pepper
Method:
Boil water in a pan, add beef pieces and cook the beef until it becomes tender.
In a frying pan fry the onions in olive oil. Add chopped garlic. Fry for 3 min. Add the tomato paste and fry for another 2 min.
Add mushrooms and 2 cups of water. Cook until the water is fully absorbed.
Add cooked beef to the pan and mix well. Cook for 5 min.
Serve hot with rice.
