Meat Rolls
Though you might not consider meat rolls an Italian dish, they first were cooked in Florence and migrated to Greece in ancient times. Great with salad, pasta or potatoes!

Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 kg meat of your choice
- 1 cup small bread crumbs
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 4 tbsp white wine
- 2 cups tomato puree
- 5 boiled eggs
Method:
In a bowl combine meat with onions, celery, egg, wine and breadcrumbs. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
Place the meat mix as a layer on an aluminum foil, add chopped boiled eggs on the top of the meat mix as another layer. Make a roll.
Remove the foil and fry the rolls in the butter.
Garnish meat rolls with lemon wedges and chopped onion rings.
