Lebanese Rice
This green rice recipe is very unusual as the rice is mixed with vermicelli. You can use Lebanon rice as a side dish with meat or fish main course.

Recipe Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup vermicelli
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup of rice soaked for 2 hours
- Salt to taste
- 3 cups water
Method:
In a pan melt the butter. When the butter is melted fry the vermicelli till it turns to golden brown.
Add the washed and drained rice into vermicelli. Cook on low heat till the rice is soft and tender. Gradually add some water to keep the rice moist.
Add salt and pepper to taste and serve as a side dish or hot with yogurt.
