Hummus
Hummus, or houmous, is an Eastern Mediterranean dipping sauce. It is very common in Greece, Israel and Lebanon. A heavenly blend of chick peas and spices goes well with fresh warm pita bread.

Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 can of chick peas
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tbsp cumin
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp pure tahini paste
- Coriander and parsley to garnish
Method:
Combine all the ingredients in a food processor. Mix until chick peas turn into a paste.
Transfer the mixture in a bowl and keep in fridge for 1-2 hours.
Serve the hummus sprinkled with chopped parsley and coriander.
