Hot Cabbage Soup
This classic hearty soup is similar to famous borscht and is very rich in nutrients. Plus, it tastes heavenly. This soup is just what you need in a gloomy winter day!

Recipe Ingredients:
- 3 lamb shanks
- 1 tbsp leeks, chopped
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 beef or vegetable bouillon cubes
- 1/2 cup celery
- 2 potatoes
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- Water, 3 cups
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
Method:
Combine water, lamb, pepper, bouillon cubes and salt in a pot. Cook on low heat until the meat gets soft.
Add parsley, leeks, carrots, potatoes to the pot. Cook until potatoes and carrots get soft.
Add cabbage to the pot and boil for 5-10 min until the cabbage is cooked properly. Reduce the heat.
Serve hot along with sauces and pepper.
