Honeyed Oats Recipe
This is a recipe for honeyed oats which is a traditional breakfast dish. However, there is nothing to stop you using the idea for a snack or even a sweet starter dish.
Honeyed Oats Breakfast Recipe
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons clear honey (Scottish if possible, or LOCAL)
1/2 pt milk
6 tablespoons porridge oats
2 tablespoons wheat flakes
2 tablespoons finley chopped nuts
2 tablespoons raisins
Method:
Mix the milk and honey well. In a large bowl, place all the other ingredients and pour in the liquid. Again mix well. Make the dish at least 30 minutes befgore serving in order to let the mixture settle and thicken.
