Fried cabbage
A very traditional Irish recipe

Recipe Ingredients:
- Finely Chopped Onion - 3 tbsp
- Shredded cabbage - 2 Cups
- Shannon bacon - 50 gm
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp
- garlic Cloves chopped - 2 tbsp
- Pepper - 2tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
Add olive oil to a frying pan add water and fry the onions . once the onions are fried add bacon. Fry for 5 mins. Add the minced garlic to the pan. Fry for 10 mins. Add the chopped cabbage to the pan .
Mix them thoroughly and cook for 15 mins. Add the salt and pepper according to taste. Cover with a lid and cook until the cabbage is cooked properly. Serve Hot.
