Honey and date Flapjack Biscuits Recipe
This is a recipe for date and honey flapjack biscuits, a sweet treat to delight most pallettes.
Honeyed Oats Breakfast Recipe
Ingredients:
- 125 g (4 oz) margarine
- 125 g (4 oz) honey
- 125g 4 oz) rolled oats
- 50 g (2 oz) pinhead oatmeal or desiccated coconut
- 1 x 15 ml spoon (1 tbsp) each of sunflower seeds and sesame seeds
- 125 g (4 oz) chopped dates
Method:
Melt margarine and honey and stir in remaining ingredients. Spread mixture in greased 20 cm (8 inch) shallow tin. Bake in preheated oven 180°C, 350°F, Gas No. 4 for 25-30 minutes.
Mark into slices whilst still warm. Approx. 165 kcal per portion. You can freeze
