Chicken Shish Kabab

This is a spicy recipe from the middle east comprising a kebab recipe which is made of Chicken. Traditionally woudl be served with salad.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • Chicken - 1 kg
  • Olive Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Lemon Juice - 1/2 tbsp
  • Pepper - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion Sliced - 1
  • Tomatoes Sliced - 4


Method:

In a bowl add olive oil, chicken and lemon juice and mix well. add bay leaves, yogurt. Mix them all together well and keep in the fridge for 5-6 hours to marinade. Add the chopped onions and chopped tomatoes on the top of the bowl. Once the chicken is well marinated add the chicken to the skewers and add tomatoes and chopped onions alternatively on the skewers.

Grill or broil until the chicken is cooked and turns in to golden brown in colour. Serve hot with rice, pitta or salad.
