Chicken Fried Rice

Chicken Fried Rice is a very common and famous recipe in the world. Chicken is used widely in the world and this dish can be served as either an accompaniment to a main meal or as a side dish.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • Chicken Small Pieces - 1/2 Kg
  • Soya Sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Pepper - 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Slice Onion - 1
  • Tomato Paste - 2 tbsp
  • Sliced Tomato - 1
  • Spring onions - 2
  • Rice - 350 gm
  • Oil - 4 tbsp
  • Fish Sauce - 1 tbsp


Method:

In a bowl add soya sauce, pepper and salt. Mix well. Add chicken and leave it to marinade. In a large deep pan boil rice along with water. Once the rice is cooked drain the water. Chop the tomatoes and onions and spring onions. In a pan add oil once the oil gets heat add the chicken and fry until the chicken turns in to golden brown. Set aside. Then add some more oil and add onions and fry them till the onions are tender.

Add tomatoes and chopped spring onions and fry for 15 mins. Add salt and pepper and chilli sauce and cook for 5 mins. Add the rice and cook for 20 mins. Mix gently. Garnish with fried onions. Can be garnished with soya sauce and serve hot with yogurt and onion salad.
