Baked Beans
This is nice and nutritious recipe as the dish is baked not fried. This SWEDISH recipe dish
contains more proteins than regualr baked beans due to the way it is cooked. The pepper and other spices will also add more taste.

Recipe Ingredients:
- Sliced Onions - 3/4 cup
- Carrot - 1/2 Cup
- Garlic Chopped - 1 cup
- Olive Oil - 1 tbsp
- White wine - 1/3 cup
- Beans - 3 cups
- Molasses - 1/3 cup
- Soya Sauce - 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Freshly-ground black pepper
Method:
In a frying pan add olive oil, fry the finely chopped onions and chopped garlic. Fry for 5 min till the onions are golden brown. Add this onion mixture to the remaining items and mix well. In a baking dish which is lightly buttered pour this mixture as a layer and bake for 50 min at medium heat.
