Babka
This is a traditional Polish desert, a cross between cake and sweet bread, is often baked for Easter. The lemon and almonds add a special taste to the recipe.

Recipe Ingredients:
- Eggs - 3
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Salt to taste
- Granulated Sugar
- Dry yeast
- lemon peel - 1/4 tbsp
- Flour - 2 Cups
- Raisins - 1 Cup
- Almonds Chopped - 1 Cup
Method:
In a deep pan add the milk and boil the milk along with salt, sugar. Boil the milk until the sugar dissolves fully in the milk. Keep aside to cool. In a cup add yeast and water and mix well. Add eggs , lemon peel to the milk mixture. Leave aside for couple of hours. Add raisins. Mix well to make smooth mixture. Take a baking dish and grease it. Garnish the baking pan with almonds. Pour the smooth paste on the top of the almonds as a layer. Bake it for ½ hour at medium heat.
