Arabic Shrimp and Cummin
This is a aromatic dish with many spices which gives so much taste to the dish. This is derived from a turkish dish which traditionally you can serve with hot rice and garnish with lemon.

Recipe Ingredients:
- Shrimp - 3 pounds
- Water - 6 cups
- Lemon - 2
- Parsley - 8 Sprigs
- PepperCorns - 8
- Celery Leaves - 1 Hand Full
- Garlic Crushed - 4 Cloves
- Olive Oil - 1 tbsp
- Finely Chopped Onion - 1
- Garlic Cloves Minced - 6
- Cummin - 3 tbsp
- Pepper - 1/1 tbsp
- Salt To Taste
- Cilantro Chopped - 4 tbsp
Method:
Wash and clean the shrimp and add to a frying pan. Add water , chopped parsley, peppercorns to the shrimp. Add celery leaves, lemon juice, and crushed garlic to the shrimp and boil on low heat for 1 hour. Drain the water and keep in a bowl. Take a pan and add oil to it. Fry the finely chopped onions along with the garlic. Fry for 2-3 min until the onions turn into golden brown colour. Add the salt, pepper and cayenne and the shrimp. Mix well and fry for 5 mins. Add the shrimp stock to the pan. Cook for 20 min on medium heat until the water is reduced fully. Serve hot with rice.
