Strathspey Railway Picture Photograph
This is a picture of one of the locomotives used on the Strathspey Railway Line.
The Strathspey Steam Railway is based at Aviemore in the Scottish Highlands in the shadows of the Cairngorm Mountains. It is a popular area as a favourite tourist attraction due to its natural beauty and the wide range of outdoor pursuits that such an area can offer.
The end of the line may be familiar to you as Broomhill Station, Nethy Bridge's local station, is the fictional location for Glen Bogle Station from the Television series Monarch of the Glen.
