Low Parks Museum, home to the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles)

This is a picture of one of the exhibits at the museum in Hamilton which plays host to the Cameronians Regimental museum. One of the local regiments, the Cameronians fought all over the world defending British and Scottish Interests.

The Low Parks Museum is a local community museum, albeit it on a grander scale than some. Its displays include tributes to local industry such as mining (coal) and agriculture. It also plays host to the regimental museum of the Cameronians, the Scottish Rifles and it is reviewed in an article.. A visit to the museum could easily be combined with a visit to Chatelherault or New Lanark or even Summerlee.

This is a picture/ photograph of a variety of war memorabilia including a drum, sword and rifle. Surprisingly, the museum doesn't have lot of war memorabilia as it is more of a local museum than just a regimental museum to the cameronians
