Albion Motor Works fire Engine Pictures Photographs

This is a picture of an Albion Motor Works fire Engine which was used by the Angus area Fire Brigade in Scotland and was supplied to them in 1969. It finished its useful life in the service of the United Distillers at Menstrie. The picture was taken in the Summer of 2005 at the Albion Motors works Museum within the town of Biggar. The Albion building houses vehicles and archives of Albion Motors, a commercial vehicle manufacturing firm started in 1899. The small motor museum is only open at weekends.
